Sulfad iazine is an organic compound, white or almost white crystal or powder, odorless, tasteless, and gradually darker when exposed to light. Almost insoluble in water, soluble in boiling water (1:60), slightly soluble in ethanol. Melting point: 252~256ºC (decompose at the same time). Its sodium salt is white crystalline powder, odorless and slightly bitter in taste.
Sulfadia zine is an organic compound with the formula C10H10N4O2S, which is white or white like crystal or powder, odorless, tasteless, and gradually darkens when exposed to light. Almost insoluble in water, soluble in boiling water (1:60), slightly soluble in ethanol. Melting point 252 ~ 256ºC (simultaneous decomposition). Its sodium salt is white crystalline powder, odorless, slightly bitter taste. Gradual brown in light. In the humid air for a long time, it slowly absorbs carbon dioxide and precipitates sulfa diazine.
 

Function of Sulfaguanidine CAS 57-67-0

1. Sulfadiazin e is the drug of choice for the prevention and treatment of meningococcal meningococcal meningitis (epidemic meningitis).
2. Sulfadia zine is also suitable for the treatment of respiratory infections, intestinal infections and local soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
