Kanamycin sulfate is mainly associated with the bacterial ribosomal 30S subunit, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. In recent years, a significant increase in drug-resistant strains, as some bacteria produce aminoglycoside passivation enzyme, so that the loss of antibacterial activity. Kanamycin and streptomycin, neomycin have complete cross-resistance, and other aminoglycosides may have some cross-resistance.

 

 

  Function of Kanamycin Powder
 

Mainly on Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes and Shigella caused by serious infection, resistance to Staphylococcus aureus also has a good Antibacterial effect. 
Clinically used mainly for sensitive bacteria caused by pulmonary infection, urinary tract infection, biliary tract infection sepsis and abdominal infection, the latter two often combined with other antibacterial drugs. Can also be used for other antibiotics resistant to the goods sensitive to Staphylococcus aureus infection.
