Sodium salicylate is an organic substance with a chemical formula of C7H5O3Na, white flakes or powder, odorless, and turns pink when exposed to light for a long time. Dissolved in water. Combustible in case of fire. Mainly used for analgesics and rheumatism, also used for organic synthesis. It can be obtained by neutralizing the crystallization of salicylic acid with alkali.
 

 

 

 

  Function of Sodium salicylate Powder
 

Sodium Salicylate is used in medicine as an analgesic and antipyretic. Sodium salicylate also acts as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and induces apoptosis in cancer cells and also necrosis. It is also a potential replacement for aspirin for people sensitive to it. It may also be used as a phosphor for the detection of vacuum ultraviolet radiation and electrons.
Applications: Antipyretic, analgesic and anti-rheumatic, widely used in cosmetics, veterinary drugs, pesticides, fertilizer, feed, livestock, oil exploration, oil additives and electroplating.
The main purpose:
1. Raw materials for organic synthesis, preservatives, reagents for measuring free acid in gastric juice. Antipyretic analgesics and antirheumatic drugs.
