Mode of Action	Cyromazine is an insect growth regulator low-toxic insecticide with very strong selectivity and is mainly active against Diptera insects. Its mechanism of action is to distort the larvae and pupae of Diptera insects in shape, and the adult larvae are incomplete or inhibited. The drug has contact killing and stomach poisoning effects, and has strong systemic conductivity, and has a long duration of action, but the speed of action is slow.
Application	This agent has special activity on Diptera larvae, and can induce the morphological distortion of Diptera larvae and pupae, and the adults are incomplete or inhibited in eclosion. Used to control flies in animal stables and to control agricultural pests such as Liriomyza sativae on cucumbers, eggplants, green beans, leafy vegetables and flowers.
Aapplied Crops	Cyromazine is suitable for a variety of fruits and vegetables, and has a good insecticidal effect mainly on "fly" pests. Insect growth regulator with contact action, which interferes with moulting and pupation. When used on plants, action is systemic: applied to the leaves, it exhibits a strong translaminar effect; applied to the soil, it is taken up by the roots and translocated acropetally.

Control of Dipteran larvae in chicken manure by feeding to the poultry or treating the breeding sites. Also used to control flies on animals. Used as a foliar spray to control leaf miners (Liriomyza spp.) in vegetables (e.g. celery, tomatoes, lettuce), melons, potatoes and ornamentals, at 75-225 g/ha; also used, at 190-450 g/ha, in drench or drip irrigation.
