What is Sulfamethazine solution?
 

Sulfonamides are broad-spectrum bacteriostatic agents, an antibacterial sulfonamide; induces CYP3A4 expression, and acetylation by N-acetyltransferase; exhibits sex-dependent pharmacokinetics, produced by the male-specific isoform CYP2C11 Metabolic changes; inhibiting dihydrofolate synthase to achieve the effect of hindering folic acid synthesis. Equivalent to sulfadiazine. It is suitable for the treatment of hemolytic streptococcus, meningococcus, pneumococcus and other infectious diseases, with long-lasting efficacy.

It is used as a feed additive for the prevention and treatment of staphylococcus and hemolytic streptococcus infections, that is, the main treatment of fowl cholera, fowl typhoid, chicken coccidiosis, etc.
