AMPPD is a chemiluminescence reagent, which, along with Luminol, is an oxidation-reduction luminescent reagent and can be used as an ultra high sensitivity detection reagent for phosphatase.
Function is AMPPD
AMPPD is the chemiluminescence substrate of alkaline phosphatase. In a suitable buffer solution, AMPPD decomposes into AMP-D with the catalytic hydrolysis of the enzyme, which emits a very strong light signal, and its luminescence speed depends on the concentration of alkaline phosphatase. When alkaline phosphatase is coupled to the hybridization probe, the presence of hybridization molecules can be detected through this system.
